Whooshes of wintery white noise and the flutterings of silver bells set the stage for Snow Drift, the second single from Patrick LeMieux's experimental electronic EP, Tileset. The relative calm of the intro is broken by the snap of a snare, choruses of frozen vocal samples, and a glacial sub-bass in the drop. This downtempo future bass track is equally at home on SoundCloud and in the frozen landscapes of 16-bit games. After the Grass Tiles and Snow Drift singles, Tileset is due out on 10/7.
